I had my first lawyer orchestra rehearsal tonight. Oddly even after so many years away from the violin, I still managed to mostly keep up with the sight reading, and it was so nice to exercise a different side of my brain for a change. I often carry a redweld full of legal research and document print-outs home at the end of the workday; this evening, I was glad to be filling one with sheet music instead.
