Lately, sunny LA feels a little isolating and gloomy. Maybe it's the fact that with my family in town, we spent tons of time in my car driving long distances. Or maybe it's because it just hasn't been all that sunny lately so everything feels a little darker. When I live in NYC too long, I find it claustrophobic; maybe the LA analog is to feel a bit disconnected.
