As I prepare to leave LA, I'm trying to appreciate even the most mundane things. Sitting at a stoplight at the corner of La Cienega and Fountain, I looked down over West Hollywood in its dense and simultaneously-trendy-and-trashy glory and waited for the light to turn green.
