These farmers grow hydroponic lettuce in a green house. The lettuce comes with the roots still attached. We wrap the roots in a damp paper towel and store in the refrigerator. It never goes wimpy or slimy. Stays like we just brought it in from the garden.
@jernst1779@fbailey try googling hydroponic or aquaponic lettuce. Junan said he is able to get it. So it is springing up. It’s all drip and uses very little water and they don’t need pesticides. And it can’t be contaminated by livestock or chickens.
