Guara by shutterbug49

Guara

We usually call it butterfly bush because the flowers on the ends of long stems just dance in the breeze. But the nursery knows it as Guara, a native of Texas.
A lovely high key with such a suitable subject - the grasses look so floaty and fragile !

Fabulous image, interesting that we have the same but call it Gaura, which has a common name of "beeblossom" ;-)

@olivetreeann high key day = Tuesdays. I was doing b&w Mondays but that just presented itself yesterday

@ludwigsdiana It appears to have both spellings. The tag from the plant says guara, but when I looked it up on line it had both spellings. It is also called wand flower or bee blossom. My neighbors call it butterfly bush, but the nursery took me to a different plant with that name. Thanks for pointing this out.
