Can you see what I see?

This tree is budding out. As beautiful as this is, I am fearful of our complete lack of rain in January….not a drop in the middle of winter.

Oh... isn't it too early? I saw some buds on our roses a while ago. Since then, we had some -20 so they are probably dead.

i sure hope it's not like one of those times when the plants and trees thought it was already spring then they're destroyed when a sudden cold spell or frost came about. i'm sure if they could talk they'd say wtf! 😉
