it's always uncomfortable by shutterbugger

it's always uncomfortable

....when the guy with no head shows up to get coffee.

(all my shots of these guys were pants. I'm kind of glad because I've wanted to call a crappy shot 'pants' for quite some time! When posting a pants shot, always try to attempt humour....it covers the crap a bit)
Is 'pants' an expression you made up, or should i know it already? lol funny shot. how's he gonna ingest coffee with no head. ps. i think it was cruel of you to post this as this is the coffee i normally have at home... now with my current coffee withdrawal i'm ready to jump through the screen and fight the birds for your folgers!

ha funny shot. I really thought pants was a northern (UK) expression. I hope you're pronouncing it correctly...
November 16th, 2011
the headless bird kind of steals the shot... Pants. A new word!
November 16th, 2011
i say 'pants' for something that's crap/rubbish all the time and i'm from the south of england!
November 16th, 2011
I've heard it before but most recently from Andy @andycoleborn. I'll have to get my accent right before I try using it on day to day things lol

@laurentye Is it too funny that I just made a pot of folgers? Well, it's funny for me, not so much for you. I usually drink tea....tea is awesome. Do you guys have Teaopia out there? LOVE that store!
November 16th, 2011

November 16th, 2011
I say pants too! England-Midlands. Love this.
November 16th, 2011
i don't think we have Teaopia here... David's Tea is the cool tea to have here. as for you drinking your folgers.... :( that's pants! (hmmmm did i use that correctly. lol) well fine, then i will have to go have hot chocolate and pretend it's coffee!
November 16th, 2011
Ok pants is ubiquitous across the Uk. You have a big choice of accents to choose from!
November 16th, 2011
nice fun photo
November 16th, 2011
@laurentye Google says there's 2 in Calgary and 1 in Red Deer. If you can, GO. Get Caramelissimo....it's awesome!
Remember....THINK crap, SAY pants
November 16th, 2011
I'm chuffed that you like my pants! LOL
Chuffed - another new word I've been wanting to use but always forget.@fueast @smevvy @emmilou
November 16th, 2011
I like it, especially the humour! Never heard of that pants expression so learned something new.
November 16th, 2011
:) chuffed is a good one. You can say 'stoked' too-means the same thing. Teach us uk folk a word in return!
November 16th, 2011
We use stoked too. It's kind of like a surfer thing.
Ok, let me think of something Canadian....hmmmm
November 16th, 2011
Toque...winter hat
two-four...case of 24 beer
This is harder than I thought! I don't know what you don't know!@smevvy
Some help? @laurentye @kalexa @pwallis

November 16th, 2011

November 16th, 2011

I use smoke and mirrors with humour to disguise my shots and it seems to work :-)

November 16th, 2011
Lol! Love it!
November 17th, 2011
@fueast shit...I say awesome all the time on here. I'm pants and didn't even know it.
November 17th, 2011
You're so funny!
November 17th, 2011
I hate it when ol' no-head shows up at the party.....he always ruins it.
Nice shot, though. Awesome.
November 17th, 2011
Hahaha! Brilliant capture :)
November 17th, 2011
Hahaha - my in-laws say "pants" all the time and my Canadian relatives love it:) What an awkward moment you've captured at the coffee can, lol
November 17th, 2011
@shutterbugger like some help from a fellow Canadian? here are some.
Looey, tooney, pass the buck, double double,4X2, four wheeler, 4 sale,
I'm cooked means as much as I've had it, canuk. feel free to use them.
November 17th, 2011
@bruni sorry that should read Looney
November 17th, 2011
I'm not too fond of chuffed, but pants I like. And I happen to say crap all the time (more often with 'holy' tacked on in front; I wonder if 'holy pants' would be okay...?). I overuse awesome, both in a genuine and a sarcastic way.
November 18th, 2011
Nevermind...it would sound like I was referring to a rip or tear in my actual pair of pants if I said it that way. Bah.
November 18th, 2011
@bruni I've never heard of I'm cooked....I'll have to use that one! Thanks for the contribution eh! ;)
November 18th, 2011
@jgoldrup I too overuse awesome. Not in everyday life though, only here. Holy pants is awesome. Give it a test run today and let me know how you make out!
November 18th, 2011
Everyday life for me. ;( Have not used 'holy pants' yet, though....will try to remember throughout the weekend.
November 18th, 2011
@shutterbugger @jgoldrup This whole conversation had me giggling since I had Holy Crap for breakfast (but no holy pants). Check here - http://holycrap.ca/product/holy-crap-cereal/

LOL! :)
November 21st, 2011
@jgoldrup @russianblue Hey...weren't they on the Dragon's Den? I've seen that somewhere before!
November 21st, 2011
@russianblue @shutterbugger Holy crap indeed....might buy some just b/c of the product name! Jenn, the pkg at the link says 'Dragon's Blend' on it, so likely you did see it on there...
