St Loyes Chapel perpective

on 15th February I uploaded a photo of the end wall of the small 14th Century St Loyes Chapel, Exeter. I made reference to how it was surrounded by development. As I walked away I looked back and quickly snapped it. Thought I would just share how it is lost among it's current surroundings!!!
Clever idea! Is this the housing estate built where the old barracks where? (Next to the RDE hospital) if as my nephew live there! Small world ehh

Good capture! The chapel looks a bit swamped, I hope it's rescued soon....!

Looks like it would have been a beautiful building!

I like the contrast you have captured. It is a shame the old architecture of the chapel is being swamped by the modern surroundings.

Hi Steve, thanks for the follow; following you back! While I cannot comment on all my followers' pictures daily, I do try to comment on those that comment on mine.

This is a very cool context shot, and I like how it tells the story of time passing.

Very idyllic view, but you´re right that wall is a bit lost in current surroundings but that chapel wall looks like something to be preserved, definitely

Viewed large, one can really appreciate the details of the stone arches. I love old structures like this.

Thanks for your complimentary comment on my water droplet photo (Momentary Thaw). I appreciate your dropping by to see it.
