Almost everything that can be seen here is carved from salt; walls, floor, alter, balustrade, chandeliers,... (the wooden benches, lightbulbs, cables and flowers are the exception) They extend almost 300 km underground to a depth of 327mtrs and have been mined for almost 900 years.
