The mount was very much in the dark side an shadow once the sun broke through and getting detail was not going to happen. Two minutes earlier the causeway was fully exposed, in fact on the foreshore of the island it is just possible to see a little yellow speck that is the last person walking across as the tide is coming in. So I concentrated on the causeway, as I say I got lucky.
