Shooting the Breeze

Sunday is race day. Ever since I started sailing a ILCA (better known as a Laser) I've been much more attuned to the wind. It's a fun challenge to photograph something that is invisible and generally detected by movement. (the Live Photos of this do a better job)

@ggshearron actually it’s the sail on my ILCA. Unlike most boats the clew is connected at the back of the boom versus a groove in the boom. Here its unconnected and looks and moves a lot like a flag (I’m sure that’s far
more info then you needed)
