When I was tying up the honeysuckle against the shed, I came across this nest, couldn't resist taking a quick photo. All is well the bird was back on the nest shortly after........... Way to go noticing the nest today. Glad the bird came back...always worry they can be scared away if they think humans are lurking anywhere nearby ;-)
Re - my imbibing beer photo - Diana, just so you don't worry too much, we cannot drink while we are serving ;-) Against ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control) laws...so we just take lots of breaks! (Just kidding!)

Oh, glad to see there are replacements on their way- Bon Kitty left us a present this morning....lots of feathers all over the dining room, and she's up in the apple tree trying to reach the baby birds up there!! These are lovely Mummy!
What a beautiful combination, that smooth and exquisite nest on the inside and those lovely eggs! Lucky you to capture the picture quickly enough not to disturb Mamma! That's just terrific!
