This is a beautiful example of a Peony Diana ! One of my favourite flowers together with Stocks at this time of year & they seem to have done so well this year ! Mine are all pink ones but I am going to hunt this one out & buy !!
Do you happen to know the name of this Peony Diana ? I have just been on-line & you won't believe it but there are 94 varieties of Peony but I couldn't see one that looked like this with bits of red on !
so pretty,I like just the touch pink. It's good to get a shot when they are in there prime as they don't last very long especially in the wind and rain, they tend to go brown.
I love the edges in a different color. I also have a white one but I think its all white and the first bud started to open up..all it needed was some sunshine..tomorrow and Sunday its suppose to rain..hope it will not hurt the peonies.
