Fritillara Meleagris by snowy

Fritillara Meleagris

A lovely sunny spring day here so pottering in the garden ., I noticed these flowers by the pond. I took loads of photos in the end I decided this one was the one I liked best.
Beautiful colors and I love the DoF.

Beautiful!! I nearly bought one in Coton Garden Centre yesterday but I wasn't sure how long the flowers would last and I wanted some instant colour!

The petals look like wings from an insect. Lovely flower.

So pretty. I love these flowers. There are some in that patch under the lime tree next to our drive that have been there since before we moved in - but they are nowhere near flowering yet - you must be very advanced in Shropshire!

Beautiful flower - it is one of my favourites. Here they still have half a meter snow on them. Maybe I'll see some in late April or early May.
