knitting this patch work blanket for Beth (our granddaughter) it has taken up many winter evenings, I had some squares left over, so I made a hot water- bottle cover & some gloves so she can read in bed with out getting cold fingers .
This looks so warm & cosy, what a lucky girl & she will treasure these things so much !!! That blanket will get passed down through all her family life !!
@happypat I have already done one for her sister Amy for when she went to uni, that's why Beth wanted one. I wonder if Helens boys will put in an order? I don't think Jak & Lana will need one in Thailand.
Great colors. I would have loved to have this given to me by my gramdmother. What a gift to give and receive. She will be very warm in love and the throw as she snuggles in for the night.
At last! It looks so warm and cuddly, she'll love it! Bet you're glad it's finished, I'll show this to Beth. When she gets to Uni she'll be able to take orders from all the envious students!! The hot water bottle and gloves look good too, she's v lucky!!!
