A bit of sparkle

Each year as the nights draw in I get this cork bowl out and put some fairy lights in it and lots of glittery bits & pieces , it lights up the hall with a cheery glow.

Oh good idea - I've decided that fairy lights are not just for Christmas so I'm going to steal your idea. Mind you I bet you don't get disgusting sports socks abandoned on your hall table for them to illuminate.....
