.a very cold day so spent some time sorting out old photographs. These where taken in the 1970's , when my husband was managing a large farming project at Harahd on the northern edge of the empty quarter desert....Top left Our daughter Helen ,top right Richard our son looking for his shoes,and Jane our youngest bottom middle , also on the left with me, and the guy with the camera my husband. ( this is best viewed large if you have time)
That must have been a very interesting time Diana, probably at a very exciting farming era in Saudi Arabia. They are in a very big way out there i know. lovely memories.
This brings back some memories! I can really recall standing there at the Bedouin camp - it was quite cold and windy. I can remember that stripy top as well - it was my favourite, which is a bit worrying!
