A day out at Ely Cathedral...

Eye Cathedral is the only the only Uk. building to be listed as one of the 'wonders of the medieval word'it one of the most inspiring Cathedrals in Europe. Steeped in history, this building has been a prominent film location for Elizabeth:The Golden Age, The other Boleyn Girl and The King's speech.

my mum used to visit Ely Cathedral when she used to go by train from Lancaster to visit my sister in Norfolk. She used to have to get off the train at Ely & my sister picked her up. Mum always loved the cathedral & loved going in while she waited for my sister, this is the first time I have ever seen it Diana!

I love this building! Have visited twice and I just loved the ambiance in the place. Didn't know it was in The King's Speech though!
