Recipe for Apple and Raisin Chutney....

for Judith and any one else , who would like to use this recipe.
Never heard of that, but it sounds like it could be quite good.

A lovely Recipe --very similar to the one I used to make -- but these days I have no apples . Such a lovely chutney with cold meats & also cheese !!

I know this is delicious...I use a similar recipe that also has cranberries, in addition to the apples and raisins, for Thanksgiving every year.

Looks good & a great way to use up apples. Did you see them pressing all the apples to make juice on Countryfile last night...they even pasteurised it too.

Thanks Diana. My mum always made her own chutney but I have to confess I don't like pickles but Steve does so I have copied this and if I get time, I might make some for him

@judithg Hope it turned out Ok , the batch I made seem to set as it cooled down, I think it is best kept for a while before using.
