Bright, Sunny Day - but Still Cold

This afternoon, out for a drive with my sister (she's driving!). Quite a contrast to the grey day I posted a couple of days ago, but still very cold.

@bruni I still have some snow on my front lawn, which doesn't get much sun, but the streets are all quite clear - for now!

@4rky Would you believe that is the main street downtown, on Saturday afternoon?

The high street where I live only looks like this early on a Saturday morning but is mobbed by the afternoon!

@4rky It's partly the cold and partly because a lot of people go to the mall instead of downtown. Efforts are being made to make downtown a busy place again, however.

Looks cold - and not very busy. So sorry to hear that the downtown core is having such troubles.

@farmreporter Downtown was busier yesterday, as it was the annual Savour the Chill soup making contest - and it was a lovely day.
