Snow always looks best immediately after it falls. After a short time it starts to look grey (or worse) or gets covered by bits of trees and bushes like this snow on my front lawn.
There was a "great lake" in the neighbor's side yard as we had so much rain tow days age and then it snowed again and all is covered up and looks nice once again.
