O Is for Ookpik

These were all the rage in Canada when I was in high school. I have a brooch too but couldn’t find it.

My mother had one of these guys! She died when I was little and I don't know what became of her Ookpik, but I asked my dad where it came from originally. He thinks he bought it on a school trip to Ottawa that she didn't go on.
