I can confirm that I did indeed buy a book the day this photo was taken. It's called "Requiem" and was written by Frances Itani (the lady on the right) who was nice enough to let my sister take a photo of me with her (& vice versa) and to sign our books. I heartily recommend "Requiem" and her other books "Deafening" and "Tell".
