Day of Truth and Reconciliation

This is a new day of observance in Canada, aka "Orange Shirt Day", in part to remember the indigenous children who for decades were forced to go to residential schools far from their homes and families.

So sad. our town flew the flags half mast yesterday and I read a huge article i our local paper about Truth and Reconciliation.
