I know I have been here before but the light was lovely and I was running short on ideas.
I took this with the wide-angle attachment on the lensbaby while lying on the floor once more.
This is sooc. I am pleased with the composition.
@channelf Thanks for the comments. Yes I took Ace membership because some days there are several images to post and it is difficult to know which one to use. I am not sure I should have committed now though.
@psychographer You know when you think you have a good shot that will get some attention and it just does not. Then others are trending and popular and fail to see the merit in them (that is not a criticism of others, it is of myself).
@spanner I know what you mean but then I guess we all see art in different ways. I look at my fav count and I sometimes wonder if I go a little OTT but then I think there's so much talent on here that I like to be honest about the shots I love...plus I'm in my fourth year so the count has to be spread accordingly. I think if a shot you love gets at least one favourable comment you should have the confidence in your own ability and let it spur you on. I love it when people fav my shots but for me it's not the be all and end all. I now have a record of my life over three years and I just love creating the art for myself :o) xx
@psychographer I agree totally - I am always delighted and flattered by the feedback (good or bad). I am also glad that I am constantly thinking in a creative way and trying to learn techniques. My kids really like taking part and humouring me which is lovely. When I see people following 100's of people I just do not know how they find the time. I struggle with 25(ish). There is so much on this site I miss.
@spanner I have to be very selective with the people I follow now due to not wanting my newsfeed clogged with too much, although tbh I really only get the chance to check out those who comment on my photos. Gone are the days when I used to give individual thanks to everyone who commented and I'd comment every day on each of the people I was following. It's just not practical any more unfortunately. I do really appreciate each and every comment I get though and I hope everyone understands when I can't keep up on a daily basis xx
@psychographer@psychographer I am always deeply flattered when I get a follower. I know how much time I invest in looking at others work, to think people want to keep an eye on what I might produce is encouraging. I also try to thank as much as I can. I have had another look at this picture - it looks like her bum is on fire.
