For the weekly theme. I find children and masks creepy. Children in masks even creepier. The kids were great helping out as usual. This is what I was aiming for. Hope you like it.
I love the hand reaching out, and the blur on her face makes the expression just ambiguous enough. The edit is cool too, I like how she reminds me of a statue of an angel. I think the shot would be better without the photobombing bunny in the back though, or maybe the bunny should be barely visible. But otherwise, excellent stuff!
@janim Hello Jani - I really appreciate feedback of any kind and value your opinions. This shot is for the dream theme - I was going for nightmare. The rabbit is an integral part of the image - less obvious and it becomes too obscure, more clarity and it is not dream-like enough. Without it, the image is a portrait which I was not trying to achieve. The processing is a huge learning curve again essential for the feel of the image. It is that Gothic/Victorian creepy feel that I am trying to achieve. Thank you for your input. I hope this explanation clarifies my intention.
@spanner Yes I got the Gothic nightmare -idea, and since you got the image you were after, then it's all good. Keep doing what you do, I like the effort you put into your images and the results are always intriguing.
