Prospect was for a really hot day, so we went out early to beat the heat. We went up by Hanbury church where there are good views across the Worcestershire countryside clockwise from the Northe East to South West. Over the years I have visited this church on a good number of occasions but for bellringing practices (There is fine ring of 8 in this tower). the approach road is wooded, and visits would be in the evening often after dark. So the approach would seem quite dark and sinister. Today however we were seeing it in a much brighter light!
