Pittsburgh had a very unique experience this year - Phipps Conservatory's Corpse Flower, Romero, bloomed! He only blooms once every 7-10 years, for just a day or two, and he smells TERRIBLE when it happens. Phipps stayed open until 2am for two nights to make sure everyone could see (and smell) Romero. We went at 1am after karaoke! SO COOL!
