I like the way the stairs bifurcations are fitting the vertical window frame. I also like the darker contrast of the window frame vs the stairs, and the idea of the dark external walls framing the lit stairs. This is a pleasant composition. If I can make a small remark, it would be that the window is not perfectly centered in the picture; this is not much but it is enough to disturb the eye.
@etienne Thank you for taking such an interest and time to reply. The problem is the position I took in taking it ie underneath and not in the centre therefore when you try and centre the top the bottom is out and vice versa. It was just a very quick shot getting out of the car to visit a patient very late at night so I was rushing a bit.
