Had a good day today, spent mostly with the best thing in my life.
After picking her up from school and having lunch, we went for coffee together (strong espresso for me while she has a babyccino - made of hot chocolate and a marshmallow :) while at the same time making an early Mother's Day card for her mum. We then went shopping for materials to complete her Tinkerbell costume for school tomorrow, and then we finished the afternoon in the soft-play running around getting tired but having fun!
Just before driving her home for tea I snapped this.
My car was parked in a car park outside the soft-play centre which was rather filthy and covered in a very low roof, but at the edges are this wall with a little daylight creeping through so I thought i'd ask Alexis to stand in front of it and make a pose.
It was very dark so the ISO is far too high, and it was slightly over-exposed in camera to try and ensure something that didn't need to be pushed too much in post. It was also hand-held and a slow shutter so it's not very sharp, but I like it.
She's still cute in pink, against a very grotty background :)
