Could have had loads of 'Blues' lines today, including 'feeling blue' (was a very, very cold and slightly tedious day at work), as I have been working at the Chelsea Football Club. The team are sometimes known as The Blues, and this is also the club colour.
I decided to take my new Fujifilm X20 with me rather than my 7D SLR, and ended up using one of the special filters on it, this time where only blue colours are seen in the shot.
It's a little 'snappy', and very gimmicky given the blue-only filter, but I thought why not - i'm still getting used to using it, and it doesn't hurt to use the features built-in.
I like the viewpoint - taken from a little cubby hole in the stadium where the corridor I'm stood in, stops at a dead end behind me - and I like the flood light coming into the dark.
I'm back there again for match day tomorrow - Brazil v Russia playing in an international 'friendly' so might try something similar, maybe with a different colour filter :)
I really like this Steve. Lots of shapes and textures and great pov. I bet there are many who would envy you your access to chelsea football grounds. Nice one!
well that's a cool function to have in a camera! interesting shot, this... i am most fascinated by the sparkling black wall and texture on the right :)
