A selfie for Day 163, staying late in base to get kit ready for the Download rock festival which took place last weekend. It was a very long day last Wednesday getting everything ready to the point where I was in base on my own for a few hours toward the end of the day and into the evening. I had my camera in my bag so thought I wouldn't have the chance of anything else that day to shoot.
I've left myself small in the frame to try and emphasise the slight feeling of being on my own at this point in the evening. There's not much wrong in staying late to get work done, especially if it will be worth it in the long run. But when you're on you're own, it's just a bit rubbish.
@pocketmouse@lucypics@nicolecampbell@khirsch Thank you all. The idea worked. Of course I had to set this up on a timer which meant running back and forth for about 4 photos, but the point was made. I was at work, I didn't want to be and was on my own. Hence the kit shelves, the space around me etc. I was prepping for the coming weekend (featured in the photos following this one!) and the hard work paid off :)
