This was taken from the Emirates Air-line cable car. I went out last night to the O2 Arena to see a show and we went on the cable car which goes from one side of the Thames to the other, just for the view. I'd been up with my mum and dad earlier this year so thought as it's so cheap and takes just a few minutes to over and back again, it was worth a look. The Millenium Dome (inside which the O2 Arena sits) is in the foregound and the skyscrapers are part of the iconic Canary Wharf district. If you look closely you can see The Shard right in the middle of the frame.
What a fantastic view! And it does look better in large, what's the reflection on the top right side? Looks like a tower or something. The B/W makes it very dramatic.
