After finishing the final Christmas Lectures recording, my colleagues and I went for a couple of drinks which turned into another couple more in Soho. I got talking to Siana shown here in the bar about how she lives nearby in the middle of Soho itself which I thought would be great fun.
I asked if I could take her picture and she reluctantly let me, but then got into it. I was a little tipsy as was she but we had fun. She said I was very nice and that my camera looked expensive so she was up for it.
I managed a few posed shots but I prefer some of the natural shots like the one above where her shyness was showing.
I should approach people in town more for a photograph because I frequently want to and then decide against it. I think it would pay off more often than not, and there are some very cool and interesting people in London that would make good photographs.
(Ignore the EXIF - I still haven't changed the cameras clock)
Good luck getting more portraits like this.
