Day 028, Year 2 - Emirates Golf Course, Dubai

The final week of 3 in the Middle East is all about the Desert Classic golf event in Dubai.

And as a former regular golf player - I won't give it up, just need to get back into it regularly at some stage - and a fan of tall buildings and cityscapes this course is a dream. It's been here for 25 years (this is the 25th Anniversary competition) and has seen the mini-Manhattan you see in the picture grow up literally from nothing, from the desert up.

I am looking forward to the next few days working on it, and being able to offer up some lovely shots of the course as well as the normal golf coverage.

you´re the first golf player I've ever "known" so maybe someday you can explain me what's the fun about it :) Now the photo, it looks like a city from a scientific fiction movie. And I love the way you framed it with the branches. Beautiful!
