Yesterday I went up to see Alexis for the first time in 3 weeks after being in the Middle East. As ever we just hung out together after school, I treated her to McDonalds for tea and then we went to the supermarket for a bit to do some shopping. Rather than create a big fan-fair after going away I like to keep things as normal and low-key as possible. It was great to just sit next to her and have her snuggle into me while she munched on her french fries :)
