I needed to get a shot and I seem to remember thinking the day ahead would be busy so after midnight passed, taking me into the next calendar day, I set this up.

The half-face effect was for me a little too much but given the very pointed beam of the bedside light it happened without much control by me. I like it but feel it's a little harsh.
But at 1am after a long day's work there wasn't so much inspiration or innovation in terms of getting too much else. :)
