I started another trip to the Middle East with work today and was lucky enough to watch the sun go down as shown in the photo.
I LOVE a window seat for this very reason.
I don't have a belief about God or a creator as such, but when I see something like this I can't help but feel a bit spiritual about it all. I know it's only atmosphere and there is some very simple science to do with light wavelengths and air particles, but I still get giddy whenever I see this.
Another day pinching myself at how lucky I am to see it, while technically on my way to work...!
1 - Seeing lots of colleagues and catching up after the Christmas and New Year break
2 - The view from the window seat to see this, and some very cool views of the snow topped mountains along the route
3 - Arriving at the Yas Viceroy Hotel in Abu Dhabi, and checking to the same room as last year :)
Wow this is stunning Steve....if I sit in a window seat I am invariably over the wing, always seems to happen. You have a great view here, it looks out of this world. As for a higher being i always believe so.....best to keep,it simple & don't think too much...believe in someone watching over us I say, it feels nice.
@happypat In general - that my sound silly - but go with the middle of the seats as you look from above. Wherever they are if you can get as close to the back as possible then you should get a good view. :)
