Day 014, Year 3 - As The Sun Lies Down For The Night

After finishing for the day at the golf course ready for the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship starting tomorrow, we drove back to the hotel via a supermarket and cafe for dinner.

I snapped this awesome view about 10 minutes after the sun had set. With the shape of the clouds and the direction of them moving down it was like they were chasing the sun downwards.

In the clouds can see wings, and I was imagining angels and all sorts of things as we watched this move away from us...it was like it had some sort of life or spirit in some way. It all sounds terribly silly I know but this is what a sunset like this does to my imagination.

It's a 10 shot panorama stitched together in PS.

3 good things:

1 - The weather today was very lovely indeed
2 - A very relaxing hot (and huge) bath in my hotel room, with a beer and a Desert Islands Discs podcast
3 - A message from someone back home that made me smile...
Gorgeous sky. :)

How wonderful that you have the ability not to just see this great sight but to feel it in such a way. To me it looks like there is a being, with a face and huge arms stretching up. Regardless it's quite beautiful.

Your TGT sound just lovely....Good when you are far from home!
Love the feathery look to these clouds, as you say they look like theybarecstreaming after the sun & coming out in Australia! My DIL tells the grandchildren when the sun goes down in NZ it's coming up on granny's side of the world.

@jennywren Thank you Jenny. The weather, skies and clouds do frequently give me the good chills, and get me thinking about life and the meaning of...it's just my imagination having fun. :)
