This is a shot taken on the beach at Mundesley in Norfolk - pronounced Munz-lee - just as the last light of the day shone.
I had the day at home doing not that much, before heading to Rachel’s for dinner, and a nice walk on the beach. This was hand-held and I was stretching the limits of the slow shutter-speed to get a little movement in the water before introducing too much camera shake. Would have been lovely to have my tripod to get a much longer exposure. I should go back at some point and have a another go…!
I might also add that this is the first upload where I have transferred a jpeg from my Fuji camera wirelessly, to my iPhone 5C, then an edit in the Snapseed before uploading to 365.
I really like what the app has done for the photo and I couldn't really quite replicate it with CameraRaw so I have decided to use this as the day's upload.
3 good things:
1 - A very nice lunch with my folks, to celebrate Father’s Day that weekend, which I couldn’t be there for due to work commitments
2 - Time in the afternoon sun, playing guitar in the garden while drinking nice coffee
3 - Seeing Rachel for a walk on the beach and a paddle in the sea that evening
Pure magic! Such fabulous light!
I have no idea what all that transferring from one to other via snapseed plus other stuff is all about, but hey, it kept your exif data - which is really the only thing I check on to try to find out what to do to get this sort of fabulous shot!
@kwiksilver Thank you Gillian...and the thing that makes this work isn't what I did in camera, but more the slight edit in the phone application. Slow shutter is good for moving water, and a tripod would be great here, but then it;s all brought out by the editing afterwards. The colours and contrast were great but I did boost them both to add to the shot. :)
