Day 175, Year 3 - Manchester Blues (And Oranges)

I set off with colleagues from Birmingham to Manchester and enjoyed some lovely weather as we rigged cameras for the next day’s cricket match at Old Trafford. After finishing work I had a nice run along the canal near to our hotel and then went for food with colleagues to one of the local restaurants. I had snapped a couple of shots at the bottom of the tall building you see in the picture - the Hilton hotel - but the weather was rather grey at the time. By the time we had finished dinner and had a drink afterwards the skies had cleared and made for a nice shot after sundown. I ran back to my hotel room just round the corner to grab my Joby Gorillapod so I could set up for some light trails.

3 good things:

1 - Nice smooth rig day at work
2 - Good run along the canal with a good pace
3 - Dinner that evening, paid for by colleagues from our sister company
Love the clarity in this. Cracking blue hour shot.

Fabulous! 6 secs and you got this! Again, fabulous! A teeny bit blown out at the bottom, but so very acceptable. I totally love it. Favd
