Day 191, Year 3 - Closing In On The Wicket

This was taken so long ago it seems that I can;t quite remember who was in to bat and who was in bowling, in this picture; I believe England are batting and Australia are bowling.

It's a filler for the day although a slightly different work shot during a day at the cricket given it;s actually during play; see tomorrow's upload for the run-of-the-mill shot :)

1 - Getting things off to a good start with the coverage on the first day at the First Ashes Test Match in Cardiff
2 - Lovely sunny weather in the afternoon
3 - Gin and card games after dinner with colleagues at the hotel

Hehe hard to tell as Australia has so many newish players I don't so easily recognise but I reckon you might be right, I'd believe anyone who tried to tell me that's Warner over on the right and maybe Starc bowling? :)
