This is another upload from last month taken as part of the daily theme photo challenge in a Facebook photo group I am part of. I was sticking to the usual habit of the shot having been taken 'on the day' and so I couldn't get anything from home as I was travelling away with work.
I was at the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool filming the Strictly Come Dancing show and as well as the room being amazing itself, when you stick very clever lighting designers in you get a feast for the eyes.
This shot was taken after they had brought in lots of disco balls to put on the floor as well as one hanging from the ceiling, and after shining lots of lights on them you get even more spots around the room, and on this occasion it looked like we were in space.
This is the set for when the pop group Take That sang and it looked amazing.
3 good things:
1 - Nice weather for the first time since arriving in Blackpool
2 - Great transmission of the live Strictly Come Dancing programme from the ballroom that evening
3 - Great to finally finish the de-rig of this show around 0130 at night.
