I left things only about 10 minutes late to get a long exposure shot somewhere in or around the village, and the nice sunset I was hoping for was covered by a low layer of thick grey clouds.
I ended up moving to the church to get the real last light of the day before the grey became too heavy.
The pink due somewhere to the colour I get with the Lee BigStopper filter and also a colour tweak (but only slightly) to make it look a little more appealing. Using Curves I actually took quite a lot out the red out.
3 good things:
1 - A much needed lie-in
2 - The fireplace in my folks' house has been plastered and ready for the new stove fire
3 - Getting bags packed for the next few days away
