I decided last night before bed that I wanted to try and get up early, to shoot a sunrise and also go running too, in daylight rather than in the dark in the evening which is when I tend to go running.
It was worth it for the experience even though I still have some way to getting a good shot using my LeeFilters Big Stopper.
3 good things:
1 - An early rise for a photo, followed by a run - always a good start to the day
2 - Getting a few little jobs ticked of my 'to do' list
3 - Curry for dinner
@jackie8 I know what you mean but, even with the dullest of days, you can frequently get a good sunrise before the clouds go over.
But....if there had been clouds in the way of the me and the stars when I woke up this morning, I might have stayed in bed! :)
@brownee56 Hi...I always tweak my RAWs in Adobe CameraRaw, then finish off in Photoshop. But I didn't do much here,,, added a bit of light in the shadows, brought the highlights down, added a small amount of vibrance to boost the colour, basic sharpening, and a bit more contrast.

I'm still here, after nearly quitting...so behind on 2015 uploads but I haven;t missed a day ( hope) and automatically renewed for this year when the email came through so I'm addicted! Great to have you back too.
