As I write this I have just returned from a few days away working in Stoke and Newcastle covering the football for Match Of The Day on the BBC.
This is the Sage Building in Gateshead as seen from directly across the river in Newcastle.
My colleagues and I travelled up from Stoke that morning and we all had a few hours to ourselves after the long drive. I took my camera down to the river, close to the hotel and did some long exposures. It was a very grey day, and the blue colour cast is typical from using the Lee BigStopper 10 stop ND filter, and even though I had another edit which took away the blue, I actually quite like it.
(I like blue in a lot of my photos...perhaps because in palmistry terms I am an 'air' person :)
3 good things:
1 - Nice journey up from Stoke to Newcastle stopping at the Angel Of The North along the way
2 - Was good to see the Sage Building, the Tyne Bridge, and the Millenium Bridge for the first time
3 - Mexican food and a drink with colleagues in Newcastle in the evening
