This is the rather lovely village of Cavendish in Suffolk where I was staying last night in a B&B with my colleague, after attending a wedding reception in the very lovely Kentwell Hall, just up the road from Cavendish. After I arrived and checked in, I drove to Clare village for some provisions, then got back and had about half hour on the green just wandering around looking for a nice shot. Unfortunately the sun wasn't as bright as I would have hoped, so I have had to paint it in a little on the grass and branches but it was still a lovely wander.
It was a great reception, the champagne was flowing very freely, the cake tasted awesome and dare I say I think I looked pretty good in my suit. There's hope for me yet in finding a bride myself one day.......! :)
Being quite remote countryside there were no taxis available but the moonlit walk at midnight was kinda cool. Thankfully after about 3 miles we managed to hitch a lift with a local from Cavendish village who was on his way home from work.
1 - A good 5 mile run to Clare village and back in the afternoon
2 - Catching up with our ex-colleague and his lovely Mrs. at the recpetion
3 - The lovely man from the village driving home who gave my pal and I a lift
This is a stunning village, I have never been to anywhere in Suffolk but you never know one day! There will be a girl out there somewhere for you Steve!
