This is a shot of the awesome bonfire that we had in a friends' wood recently. I say wood, and it is literally that, albeit a small one. They have a few acres and so they need to cut down trees every so often to keep the land in check so as well as a Christmas get together with food and drink, we had a bonfire too. This is something our families have been doing together for years now.
3 good things:
1 - Not having to get up early that day
2 - Lovely to see close family and friends
3 - A bonfire under the stars in the woods in the evening
