I have always been very health conscious after being a very large teenager and am now thinking about how I want to be when I am older, so now is the time to really put the effort in and look after myself.
I bought the DVD by the latest trendy fitness guru Joe Wicks - the Body Coach, so I am hoping I can get inspired by it. I watched the 'warm-up' section yesterday and really liked it. Just gotta get the towel out and crack on.
3 good things:
1 - Getting up for an early morning run at sunrise - even though it was really grey and damp - and trying to raise the heart rate
2 - Stopping and helping a young woman who was completely out of it laying on a bench on the seafront dressed in really not that much, and getting her into an ambulance. She wouldn't respond with words, but got very tearful and was shaking. Quite frightening really...I'm glad the old couple walking nearby had a mobile phone so we could get her help
3 - Cooking the brunch for my folks and my sisters family and wander in the drizzle in the afternoon
The I think a lot of us are feeling like you do at this time if Year! I am certainly trying to loose about four pounds before I go to NZ in February! Good luck! Silly girls, they have no idea how vulnerable they are, her parents would have a fit if they had seen her! Glad you were around to rescue her!
