The first of a few snaps from this past week, with not too much inspiration i'm afraid. I was looking at this photo of my grandparents and just started thinking about how important some photos are. A lot of the shots I have taken for 365 are not going to be sadly missed by anyone if they are lost as such, although I would hope that doesn't happen.
But when it comes to family photos, portraits and shots of important occasions there are some that really do stand out.
This is one of those. It's not a particularly amazing shot in any arty sense but it captures them both while they were still full of life, smiling and together. It's the only one of them in my folks' house on display so in that respect it's quite an important print.
3 good things:
1 - A lay in that morning
2 - Lunch out with my folks at a local carvery
3 - Nice run through the town on a brand new route
